a newspaper ad
so i was looking through the busan newspaper the other day and actually saw this ad:
"looking for aggressive drivers, people who act now and think later, people who use both feet to drive and dont necessarily know how to use the stick shift. if this criteria applies to you, apply to be a Busan busdriver today!"
ok, i didnt really see this, or maybe it is there and i just cant read it, but i think it applies to all city bus drivers here. i have never, ever gotten car sick in my life. not driving around mountains on windy roads in ecuador, not driving with certain soccer coaches who also use both feet (ahem.. reg knows what im talking about), not under any circumstance have i ever gotten car sick before ...until now. these drivers are horrible, they have no quams (haha david) running read lights, (if they do decide to stop at a right light, they have the pedal to the metal until about two feet away before they slam on the brake), they cut off cars, drive on sidewalks and generally terrorize the roads here. i have many times contemplated getting off of buses and walking instead. i actually saw someone get off of a bus and "OBITE" the other day, obite being the korean word for puke. no word of a lie, he got off the bus and puked, his girlfriend tried to help by holding her hands under his mouth. sick. just had to get this little rant off of my chest.
in other news, since my last post, i have been called fat 3 more times and told that i had a unibrow once. i may have put on a few pounds since my ecuador parasitic weight loss plan, but that is to be expected of course! i am definitly not fat! and if theres one thing i dont have, its a unibrow!! i thoroughly checked in the mirror after this happed and im positive that there is no hair between my eyebrows!
awhile a go i was talking about funny names that these kids are given or that they choose for themselves, i heard a new one today...."captain homo". really, i dont know how the teachers used this name, especially disciplining him. can you imagine trying to keep a straight face while you are screaming "CAPTAIN HOMO GET OUT OF MY CLASS!" ?!?!
i know, i have been slacking recently. i will try to get better! theres a lot of good things to write about, so keep checking, i promise its coming! hope everyone had a fantastic holiday and a great new years!

I seem to recall a girl who refered to herself as the "cute little cubby girl" when you first stared soccer and now your laughing at Jules and telling her to be mean to little kids....
Was pretty funny though.
