Best read from the bottom up! I'm an idiot but I'll fix it for next time!

Ok, I cant get anymore pictures posted on this one, so I'm going to try posting it and starting a new one!

This is the Lago Arenal that surrounds the town on one side, very pretty at dusk.




We went to the town of La Fortuna for the weekend. This town is a few kilometers away from a volcano that had been inactive until 1968 when it erupted killing 89 people and destroying villages. Since then it has remained active and erupts on a daily basis. It also turned this river into a natural hot springs. Our guide brought us here to swim for awhile. It was absolutely beautiful and the water was steaming hot. We had an exciting drive there with our mulleted guide, the self proclaimed Mr. Lava Lava Man, belting out Blondie the whole way.




This is a picture of the very safe bus ride that we took to get to La Fortuna. The bus driver could definitely see where he was going, we were not speeding around dangerous mountain turns, there was never any incoming traffic in our lane trying to overtake other cars, and I most definitely never felt like I was going to die.
